Watch Dials Cadrans de montres

New enamel dial   / Cadran émail neuf
 Marquetterie (Edelweiss)
Marquetterie (Cervin)

There is just a few ways to do dials in the classical materials: Enamel or Guilloché. The Guilloché started in 16th century and was only possible with the evolution of the mecanics.  Enamel is coming from midel-age. (around 9th century in Europa) originally practiced by the Scythes two milleniums ago. In the beginning the enamel dials were hand-painted. Today it's only for art pictures and not for numbers. Stampds dials are still produced a lot and their bad reputation is not totally true... Since wery long time the coins are stamps... this is an antique way to make things.

Prototype dial for prototype watch (regulator)... Cadran prototype pour montre prototype(regulateur)...
